Why do bible study
We are all entitled to our research for whatever reason it may be. In order words: why is bible study important for a Christian. Is Bible study important to a Christian? And here are the reasons why: 1. Wisdom is the key for living a contented life in Christ.
We must be wise in everything that we do and we must be wise in our interaction with others. When we are wise: we make better choices we are less prone make mistakes we generally live more contented lives. A famous quote by Dr. To him be glory both now and for ever. The more you know, the greater chance you have of making better decisions. Making better decisions leads to a greater quality of life.
But there is a difference between reading something and learning something. That my friend is wisdom! The Christian life is a battlefield.
It is a constant war for our soul; good versus evil. We have to be prepared because;. Satan and his demons attack us every day!
How do we receive the power to easily resist the temptation of Satan? We can only apply what we have learned and studied. What happened? Did the answers for the test just magically appear on the examination paper? If it did, good for you! Our entire life is a test! We are tested every day to do what is right.
Defending your faith and Teaching others One of the reasons why I began to study to the Bible, was because of my friends. I kind of just assumed what was right or wrong based on what the Pastor said. She was right! Why was I a Christian? Was it just because I was brought up that way? What about other religions? And so began my search for truth!
What are we going to say to people when they ask us questions? We are living, breathing, walking testimonies of Jesus Christ. We are his representatives on earth. We go through a similar process getting to know God. Of course, God can reveal himself in any way imaginable, at any time and to anyone. But if we have his Word, then he expects us to read it and to know him through it. As we read his Word and observe his actions, we get to know who he is.
When I began to take discipleship seriously, I had an insatiable desire to read the Bible. I found it intellectually stimulating and fascinating. I know that even when I face trouble he is with me, and the result will be for my good and his glory. His voice is not harsh or pushy, and I am learning to discern the difference between the enduring voice of God and the momentary messages of the world.

God loves us enough to correct us and discipline us. Correction can be painful at times, but God does it so that we can walk in His blessing and not reap the consequences of our actions.
A great prayer to pray is Psalm Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! We can understand and live the way God leads us. There will always be needs in the world around us.

It is God-breathed 2 Tim. The Accuser will come against you with lies and half-truths to immobilize you.
You will receive wisdom from heaven beyond the limitations of your training and life-experience. The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The world brings seemingly endless pressures with greed, jealousy, and anger all around. God uses His Word to detox you from the things that bring bitterness and hopelessness into your life.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. It will spill-over into the people around you as you live for God. In all that he does, he prospers. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it.
For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
