How is weapon xp earned

Gaining medals for getting double or triple kills will not increase the weapon XP gained. Playing and beating the short campaign mode will not earn players weapon XP. After a weapon is unlocked, gaining experience with it will make progress toward its weapon mastery simultaneous with the player's progress toward the next unlock in the tree, if any. Between blood bonds can be claimed from the book when mastery is achieved. Mastery progress is unaffected by prestige.
